Colder Temperatures Attract Rodents
Many times during the colder temperatures human's want to stay inside and avoid the cold weather. At the same time, rodents are wanting to keep warm too. Mice can fit in holes as small as a nickle and will do anything to keep warm too. If you have problems with rodents we recommend being proactive to avoid mice from coming into your home.
Keep pet food and water bowls away from food pantries. It would be best to only feed the animals as needed instead of always keeping the bowls on the floor.
Inspect the outside of your house for any cracks or small holes. If you can fill the holes and cracks it will help prevent mice and other insects from wanting to create a nest.
Keep a clean yard clear of leaves and debris. Leaves can be a great hiding place for rodents and insects the more you keep your yard groomed the less places rodents and bugs have a place to hide.
If you already notice a problem setting mice traps can help eliminate existing rodents. Be proactive an call Big D Pest & Termite Services in McKinney, Texas. (214) 726-0292. We provide pest control in Collin County including Plano, Celina, Allen, Princeton, Wylie, Murphy, Frisco, and Anna, Texas.
